Frequently Asked Questions

Will it really reach my back?

That's what it's made for. Hold one end over your shoulder and the other behind your hip, then slide it back and forth with both hands, just like drying off with a towel. It scrubs the middle of your back, the spot your hands can't reach on their own, without twisting your arm behind you.

Is it too rough for my skin?

You'll feel it scrub, that's the point. The texture is firmer when dry and softens once it's wet and lathered. Go light the first few showers and press harder as your skin gets used to it. If your skin is sensitive, keep the pressure gentle and skip any area that's irritated or sunburned.

Can I use it on the rest of my body?

Yes. Fold it in half a couple of times and it works like a sponge for your arms, legs and chest. One drop of body wash is enough for a full lather, so one towel handles your whole shower.

What comes in the box?

Your Skinshed towel: 1, 2 or 4, depending on the pack you choose. Every pack also comes with a FREE adhesive shower hook, so your towel has its own spot to hang and dry. If you tick the mitts or gloves, they're added to the same order.

How do I keep it clean?

Rinse it under running water after every shower, wring it out and hang it on the free hook so air reaches every side. Once a week, give it a wash in warm soapy water. When the texture starts to wear down after a few months, it's time for a fresh one.

When will it arrive? Can I send it as a gift?

Every order ships within 1-3 business days with free tracked shipping. Delivery takes 3-7 business days to the US, Canada and the UK, and 4-8 to Australia. It makes an easy gift for anyone who can't reach their back: the 2-pack gives you one to keep and one to give.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Then you don't pay for it. You have 90 days from delivery to try Skinshed in your own shower. If you're not happy, contact us and we'll refund you in full. No forms, no questions asked.

Stop rinsing the spot you can’t reach.

You twist. You stretch. Your sponge still misses the middle of your back. SKINSHED reaches across it, so you can finally scrub it yourself.

That itch isn't going anywhere

Sweat, dead skin and leftover body wash pile up right where you can't scrub. That's the itch that wakes you up at night. The rough patch you feel through your shirt. And asking someone else to do it? That's not a shower, that's a favor.

Skinshed. Both hands. Every inch. Done.

One end over your shoulder, the other at your hip, and pull. The long textured weave does the scrubbing while you just slide it back and forth. One drop of body wash turns into a cloud of lather. Thirty seconds later you step out squeaky clean, head to toe, and you did it yourself. That feeling? It's addictive.
